Prescription Insoles are best described as being sophisticated force guidance systems to manipulate the forces being transferred through your feet. We offer bespoke insoles in a range of materials, including 3D printed Polypropylene, EVA, graphite and carbon-fibre – great for moderate to severe medical foot problems.
Assessments include discussing your clinical history, managing expectations and setting treatment goals. The proposed design of your prescription will be explained to you, making sure you leave the clinic with full confidence.

The Stepthotix approach
Every Assessment will include four key components:
1. Static Posture Analysis & Anatomical Assessment
This will involve observing your general body alignment while standing, looking for any postural asymmetries which could potentially be contributing to your symptoms. We will observe the alignment of your feet and give them an objective posture score.
A thorough examination of the joints of your feet will be performed to check their ranges of movement and assess if there are any structural restrictions present.
2. Dynamic Force Analysis
Sophisticated analysis of your movements will allow us to evaluate how much force is being transmitted through your legs and into your feet. Imbalances and weaknesses in your pelvis can result in abnormally high loads being transferred into your feet and inhibit them from functioning correctly.
A visual assessment of your gait will also be performed to supplement the findings of the previous tests and formulate the design of your orthotics.
3. Data Capture & Manufacturing
At Stepthotix, we use state of the art scanning technology to capture and create high precision 3D digital scans of the surface profile and contours your feet.
We have partnered with EDSER Labs, who have over 20 years of orthotic manufacturing experience, allowing us to use the latest 3D printing technology so we can offer you high quality treatments.
4. Client Centred Care
Findings from the Postural & Dynamic assessments are integrated to give you an understanding of the cause of your pain. An explanation of the proposed design of your prescription will be given to you, making sure you leave the clinic with full confidence and satisfaction.
